How I work

From understanding the context to everyday work.

Every organisation has different needs, rhythms and constraints. I don’t bring universal recipes: I build each engagement with the people involved, choosing tools and approaches based on the work to be done.

The method

Four phases, one piece at a time.

01

Listen and understand · Context analysis

I gather information, listen to the functions involved and reconstruct how work and decisions really happen. We agree on a reading of the issues and choose where to start.

02

Design together · Design

We define roles, processes, criteria and tools with those who will use them. No top-down models: the design includes responsibilities and the conditions to make it work in practice.

03

Test in the field · Pilot

We apply the model to a concrete part of the work. We see what gets stuck, gather feedback and adjust before scaling it up.

04

Leave a mark · Adoption and handover

I support people in using it, documenting it and handing over responsibilities. The goal: when I leave, the ownership stays inside.

Ways of working

Tailored ways of working together.

The type of support can change along the way: we agree on goals, roles and responsibilities, so everyone’s contribution is clear.

Ongoing · part-time

Fractional Leadership

Ongoing operational support (weekly or monthly) as an extension of your internal team. Typical roles: Fractional Operations Lead, Fractional Delivery Manager, Fractional CX & Marketing Ops Lead.

From 2–4 weeks to partnerships

Operational Advisory

Strategic and operational support to improve processes, workflows, governance, deliverable quality and complexity management. From fast interventions to long-term partnerships.

Project

Organisational design

Designing governance, Demand & PMO, operating models and processes, involving the functions and preparing the pilot in the field.

Co-design & Design Thinking Workshops

Facilitated sessions, internal or with an agency’s clients, for strategic alignment, co-creating solutions, mapping journeys and processes, roadmaps and priorities.

Events · kick-offs · meet-ups

Speeches & Inspirational Talks

Engaging talks on project & operations excellence, customer experience, Agile mindset and cross-team collaboration.

Before we start

What we agree on together.

  • Goals and expected results.
  • Scope, phases and level of involvement.
  • Sponsor and responsibilities of internal people.
  • Information and availability needed.
  • Outputs, checkpoints and evaluation criteria.

Intensity and duration depend on the context. The proposal states clearly what’s included and which conditions may affect the journey.

FAQ

Questions I’m often asked.

How do we choose where to start?

We start from the request and reconstruct its context: why it comes up, what consequences it has, what decisions it requires. If the problem is already clear we can go straight to design; otherwise we plan an initial analysis phase.

Who needs to be involved?

Those with the mandate to decide, those who know the work and those who will own it. We agree on involvement phase by phase, taking everyone’s availability and responsibilities into account.

How do we know it’s working?

We choose a few indicators consistent with the goals: decision times, completeness of requests, variance management, actual use of processes. We take a snapshot of the starting point and track it during the pilot.

Can consulting and training be combined?

Yes, and it’s often the best choice. Training supports the design and roll-out of the model: it builds the skills needed and a common language across functions.

Do you work on site or remotely?

It depends on the project. I work with organisations across Italy and beyond, and together we find the right balance between on-site meetings and remote work. Workshops and co-design sessions, when possible, work best in person.

Shall we work on the next project together?

If you have a project to propose, a question, or if I can help in any way, write to me.
